MMRS NATIONAL FINAL THOUGHTS

MMRS NATIONAL, FINAL THOUGHTS

The event started out with a huge turnout for practice on Friday, 268+ for practice. The 50cc and Vet riders had the biggest numbers and we had to split the practice for the Vets to accommodate everyone on the track. Everyone had lots of seat time, no ambulance calls.

After practice we got the pit bike races going which are always fun to watch. The strider races and the slip and slide were also a big hit. The night was completed by the Open Mic with great talent and performances.

Sat. and Sunday we were off to the races, great turnout, full gates and great competition for the biggest Amateur event in Canada. The Maintenance team, flaggers and medics did an amazing job and again no ambulance calls.

Our huge Tykes class got to get out and do some racing Sat. They all did a great job and all received  trophies and gift bags

Sunday we wrapped up with our awards and prizes. Congratulations to all the riders.

Special congratulations to Travis Byrom, winner of the Hard Charger Award and Lily Turner, winner of the Up and Coming Rider Award.

We proved this past weekend that our MMRS family of friends and riders comes first at our events while enjoying the sport they love.

Thank you to all who helped make the 2019 MMRS National one of the best yet.
